Preparation and valuation, at project and operational level, of an onshore oil field (NPV > XXX MEUR) forming part of an international exploration and production portfolio divested by a listed multinational energy group to an independent operator backed by private equity funds specialised in energy.
Engagement focused on structuring the asset’s operational and economic data and on its financial modelling, feeding into the portfolio divestment process, in a highly capital-intensive energy and infrastructure environment.
Scope of work
- Structuring and consolidation of the asset’s operational and economic data
- Economic modelling and sensitivity analysis (price, cost, volumes)
- DCF valuation of the asset and valuation scenarios
- Preparation of the asset’s economic documentation
- Contribution to the input data of the portfolio divestment process
